13 Days of Halloween: Day 2

Okay. I was feeling ambitious this season, and decided what to do what I call The Thirteen Days of Halloween project. Starting with October 19 and for the 13 days til Halloween, I will submit a picture that has to do with a famous movie, Halloween-related. But there's a catch with the pictures. It will not be only the characters from the movie, but my characters put into the scene as well. I had a time trying to decide what movies to pick, and what order to go in, and this is probably one of the biggest projects I've done...that I truly intend to finish. Enjoy!

Here is Day Two: Dracula

Dracula from Universal Studios, 1931. I tried to draw Bela Lugosi as Dracula as well as I could, and it came out decent enough. The fun part about THIS picture is that it's Dracula vs. Dracula! The Bela Lugosi Dracula is holding Duskrose (who is actually already a Vampire, little does Dracula know). The young man with the sword is MY Dracula, and Duskrose is his girlfriend. So he's the knight in shining armour coming to her rescue. Another fun thing about this picture is that the background is actually scenery from the 1931 Dracula movie. Yay!
