The personifications/avatars of :iconsilvre: (me), :iconphobos-romulus: and :icondeimos-remus: (my brothers).

Background:

Entirely ignorant of their true identities, Silvre, Phobos-Romulus and Deimos-Remus were "adopted" from 3 separate orphanages and named by the scientists that took charge of them.

Silvre, born in 2088, was 6 years older than the two boys, and was the first to undergo the experimentations that the scientists had planned. There were three head scientists; only one of them was hesitant about the experiments and did not actually take part in them. Her name was Dr. Eislah. The other two were only known as Omar and Catherine.

Dr. Eislah was in charge of the children. Though she did her best not to grow attached to them, it was a futile endeavor. She loved them, and loved them more as every year went by.

The children grew, as children will, and the three of them became inseparable. They thought of each other as siblings, even though their appearances varied -- moreso as the years went on.

Various experiments were run on the children; splicing experiments, cybernetics, and various other torturous studies.

Their appearances were altered significantly, though after a certain point only minor changes surfaced. New and varied abilities also came to the children:

Silvre was able to emit light from her hands, which she was able to harness and use as a weapon. Her hair was bleached a chalk-white that could not be dyed or changed back. Her eyes lost the appearance of an iris or pupil and remained a "blank" white.

The skin of Phobos-Romulus was turned a bright blue and his eyes a blank, glowing red. His strength was incredible even at an early age and it was soon seen that next to nothing could stand in his way. After a set of particularly grueling experiments, Phobos-Romulus's respiratory system was compromised and a series of metal tubes were attached to various parts of his body to help him breathe.

Deimos-Remus' experimental changes were perhaps the most drastic. His face took on a skull-like appearance, with teeth and sharp facial bones that protruded above the skin. His eye colour changed with his emotions, ranging from a neutral orange-yellow to a furious red. His strength was similar, though not quite as great as Phobos-Romulus'. But his peculiar grey skin had an interesting quality: it healed exceptionally fast. On one occasion, he severed a finger in an accident and the finger was reattached immediately, as if the skin had a mind of its own. Upon questioning, Deimos replied that he hadn't even thought about it -- it had just reattached by itself.

When Silvre was twenty and the boys were fourteen, the last set of experiments was run. Silvre grew many sharp bone-like spikes on her upper body, and Phobos and Deimos grew to a unforeseen tremendous height.

It was then that Dr. Eislah came to the three of them and warned them of the other doctors' plans to wipe their memories clean and turn them into cruel killing machines for their own gain.

With the doctor's help, the three escaped to parts unknown.

They currently travel from place to place, although they do have a home whose location is unknown.

They are pictured here in the year 2101; Silvre is 13; Phobos and Deimos are 7.

They are in an artificial outdoor area created by the scientists. Behind a two-way(?) mirror, the scientists are watching.
