Tahmores the Manticore

This is Tahmores (Persian for "strong" or "wild dog"), pet of the Ragnarok family, whom you can see elsewhere in my gallery. Tahmores is a Manticore, enormously built, with three rows of teeth, a voice like a trumpet, and a tail that can shoot out barbed spines. Manticores live for centuries at a time, are extremely intelligent, and have excellent memories.

Though it is had to train and tame a Manticore, it can be done. When tamed, Manticores make great pets. They are protective of their masters, and very loyal. They know when to be gentle, as with children, but are ferocious protectors.
