The Samurai and the Snow Empressby ~Silvre

I've been wanting to do a winter/Christmas picture, but inspiration didn't hit me until last night. At first I wanted to draw Yukina as a ice warrior maiden or something like that, but I decided it wasn't happy enough for this time of year. Then, for some reason that I can't remember, I started looking up Japanese princesses and empresses.

So, possibly in an alternate universe, Yukina is a Snow Empress and Kuwabara is her loyal Samurai.

It was fun, but I was scared I wasn't going to have the ambition to follow through. It started turning into one of those "Why Did I Do This?" projects, but it eventually became a "DON'T STOP ME NOW!" project.

The original was taller than this, but I liked the fake-screenshot version better.
